Friday 18 June 2010: Japanese SF

This is Ryu a Japanese SF guy, a very switched on cookie and a good guy. Being able to speak Japanese for me is a benefit at times but his actual English is very good so no language barrier.

We were tasked in training some local nationals to become Close Protection Officers (bodyguard) Their job would entail concealed weapon carriage, and how to deal with situations etc. Ryu here has demonstrated how he has managed to 'steal' the weapon from the Bodyguard and turn it against him!

Our role is to show them how to conduct themselves in all sorts of scenarios and how to deal with such situations and prevention of such eventualities etc etc etc rather boring to be honest but makes the day go quicker I guess!

I was going to hit the pool as per my last blip but its become overcast so shall sit in and find something to do. Loads to do but I need to take a few hours to relax!
