Thursday 17 June 2010: Domino
Not the Domino Theory, which had communism sweeping the globe, nor the fabulous song of the same name by Van Morrison or even the pizza chain. Naw. Just old fashioned dominoes getting played in the pub. A place I've been too much recently, I'm beginning to think. Yesterday I sat and had some sups with a blipper in a West End boozer. We poured over maps of the islands and West Coast and looked at photographic equipment while Mexico were turning over France. This was so enjoyable and addictive that we decided to head Fifewards to the Ship Inn - Thursday is music night over there. Some time after that I was back in a sitting room enjoying a very fine Port Ellen. And they even made a bed up for me. Cheers!
