Kinda Horrigans

Monday 21 June 2010: I got sunshine, in a bag...

115/365: Cosmos basking in the sunshine in our garden.

Have thought of a title for this image and now I can't get Clint Eastwood by the Gorillaz out of my head. Rats!

And I also can't think what I was going to write today. My head is officially empty. Well, apart from that annoying song. Hold on while I have a slurp of tea and I see if anything comes back... hmmmm... nope...

Work's been quiet today. Had a productive meeting this morning. Cancelled one which wasn't going to be productive. Then spent some time sorting out a few bits and pieces ready for my Personal Development Review which always turns out to be neither personal, developmental or a review of anything worthwhile since (and hold on to your boredom thresholds here because they're going to be severely tested) it looks at strategic objectives for the institution and tries to create your own future working objectives from those whilst also reviewing the past 12 months objectives... no... no... stop falling asleep... wake up... wake up... WAKE UP!!!!

Anyhoo, after that I tootled home to finish off some more stuff. My daughter's got an appointment with the doctor this evening (has been very wheezy and coughing a lot lately) and we're probably going to have a barbecue tonight.

Oooh, I know what I was going to say. Something about it being the longest day of the year and it being a good thing that the sun's put on a proper show for us so we could make the most of it. And then... *that* song came into my head and everything else plopped out onto the floor.
