Every wondered why the sharp knives in houses you rent on holiday are never, well, sharp?
No?
Well I have. And now I know.
It's so the tenants don't cut their fingers off and bleed all over the white upholstery.
The reason why blue scratchy cleaning pad things aren't usually provided is probably so the same tenants don't then go and try to clean the blood off.
Edit: we're the renters, not the tenants...
