Wednesday 23 June 2010: The Artist
117/365: Not sure why I've gone for black and white on such a pretty day, but it seemed to suit it, so... ermmm... that's about it really.
Apparently we're halfway through the week... a lot of people skived off work to watch some kind of sporting thing this afternoon... and it's sunny.
So, ignoring the middle bit... hasn't it been a gorgeous day! My daughter's been off school as she's poorly with a chest infection, but no matter how grotty she feels... a bit of sunshine and she's outside, painting. She's always at her happiest when she's being creative. And always at her grumpiest when she's ill. Between the two we've found a temporary whinge-free zone. Hooray!
As to the sunny part. YAY! Don't you just love June when the weather plays ball? I know I keep doing blips in my garden and they're pretty uncreative... but this is all part of my ploy to bottle this time of year so that when the weather turns ick, I can break open my summery blips and sniff the lovely scent of sunshine. Even if today is a black and white kinda day... (there's often no logic in my thought processes... it turns out, this is one such moment)
:o)
