Downturn Becomes Upturn

The neighbouring flats being built round my way have been hit hard by the downturn and even harder when newly constructed flats burnt down to the ground (in no time at all) back in April 2008 causing a lot of us to be evacuated at risk from an unstable crane.

After that they boarded up what was left, constructed what they needed to and shut up shop. The cranes disappeared and we were surrounded by a building site.

The cranes are back and the scaffolding us creeping up the concrete jungle once again.

Yay for the upturn !
