Cowboy's sniffer in action

Wondering what is King Cowboy smelling so prominently? It's the arrival of real summer in the Pacific NW! He's dug himself a wonderful deep bed in the dirt alongside the deck---looking down to check on him I blipped his nose in action:) i am still resting for those who worry I won't!!
