The Fair Maid

This happy couple were sharing a bench with Graham Ibbeson's sculpture of the Fair Maid of Perth.

The Fair Maid of Perth was a character in Sir Walter Scott's novel of the same name. Although the Fair Maid seems more interested in eavesdropping on the couple's conversation rather than reading the book in her lap.

I had another photo where the couple were as stoney faced as the sculpture but I preferred this one.
