Tuesday 29 June 2010: Looking out the window
Today dawned a breezy bright day, with a drop in temperature that was welcome. By 10 there was a torrential downpour in which I got caught, helping out a friend going to a hospital appointment with a 2 year old. We were hopelessly, helplessly soaked to the skin, complete with water streaming down our faces and running out of our shoes.
By the time I got back to work it was as if it had never happened. Butter wouldn't melt. Gazing out of the window I was thinking how nice it is to be level with the top of these spectacular clouds. Either they're very low, or we're quite elevated, but either way cloud shapes are a great thing to gaze at.
