Setting Sun.

The sunset seemed to be setting the forest ablaze!

What a weird, yet wonderful day! The mist in the morning was very discouraging because we were heading to Baddeck to participate in the first Farmers Market there. With the threat of rain, the indoor venue was chosen .... 7 of us set up our wares and the people started coming 10 minutes before we were meant to be open....gotta like that type of enthusiasm.

So, compared to the gig up in Sydney, at the Cruise ship venue, this was so much more successful....and on many levels. First, I didn't have to get up at 'daft o'clock' .... this gig started at 11am. It only went till 2pm.....so 3 hours instead of 8 hours....big difference....and apart from the great sales, I got to mingle with the locals, and got to meet all sorts of people from close to home. Plus, i'm only 15 minutes away so lots of advertising opportunities too! All in all a very successful day.

Just as we were packing up, around 2.15 - the sun came out and stayed out for the rest of the day and evening....it was glorious!
