freshwater monster

A quiet afternoon fishing led to some unexpected findings - this snapping turtle had to have been at least 60 pounds! It looked to be 3-4 feet from head to toe. I'm no herpetologist but I'd say this monster could bite your toes right off! When I tell my grandkids about this, I'm sure I'll remember it as being 6 feet long, 800 pounds, and with a jaw like a bear trap.
