Friday 2 July 2010: The thing about a home
Our house is partway through a do up
Next on the list is the garden shed and painting the doors and windows
For the last 8 months I've come home each day to this rather well loved looking door
On the face of it, it shouldn't feel very welcoming at all. Paint marks, scratches, chips, faded and filled...
Yet somehow, it really does feel like a door castle at the end of the day.
After all, despite being a work in progress, it is OUR house.
