Another Tour

Not as glamorous as the Tour De France but a great event in it's own right. Here are a few early riders nearing the finish of the annual Manchester to Blackpool charity race.

The conditions were awful. Though it was dry at the time I took this shot, it was very windy and the riders would have a face full of sand for their troubles, you may be able to see sand starting to collect on the roadside and drifitng across it.

and just an hour later the heavens opened.

I am seriously considering entering the event next year...
