Monday 5 July 2010: IKEBANA?
At long last the Meadowsweet has decided to bloom but, today, it was so windy that I wasn't able to get a decent shot of it due to it being whipped this way and that.
Instead I took a picture of this patch of plant stems and flowers which had become intertwined with each other (that fact doesn't really show up on the picture) against a backdrop of a very foreboding sky. My imagination likened it to an ikebana arrangement (but then I do have a very furtive imagination so I shall forgive you if you think I'm just having myself on).
