Summer breeze

Today was more of a summer gale than a summer breeze, snapping branches off trees and whipping the dog into a hyperactive frenzy, chasing leaves and crisp packets across the park. I took refuge in the cinema to watch a very entertaining French film called Heartbreaker (L'arnacoeur). Wit, humour, two beautiful leads in Vanessa Paradis and Romain Duris, a stunning setting on the Côte d'azur - a very pleasurable way to spend an afternoon.

By evening, when I took this picture, the wind was still tearing through the long grass. A calmer day tomorrow, I hope.
