Tuesday 6 July 2010: Thachoo Onion?
Clauds the explorer. Clauds the adventurer. Clauds the "oh yes I can climb this cat tree just you watch mummy".
Mummy did not watch, mummy removed her and blocked her path with the beanbag but she was enjoying watching Onion there way up high.
She's a right little daredevil now. The little step down into the pondok that provoked such terror in me when she got near it is now small-fry. She wants to climb onto sofas, stools, chairs. She wants to climb out of the window, through the cat-flap, inside her toy box.
I remember a while back when she first started standing I said the world was no longer safe. How little I knew then! The world is not safe now for sure and every day I notice more and more sharp, pointy, hard or potentially lethal additions to our home which I'm sure were never as dangerous a year ago. I think your whole view on life, on everything, seems to change when you have a child! I never thought I'd be the overprotective type, and I'm not really, but my god there are a lot of things in the average home that can kill maim harm a baby!
Back blip from yesterday (our internet always drops out when there's a storm and it didn't pick back up again until this morning): 5th July
