Sunday 11 July 2010: Memory Lane
Took a cycle out to Maw's and found her watching the Tour de France; engrossed as usual - I think it was the eighth stage.
On the way there I took a detour along Lymphoy Road (above). It was a trip I used to make regularly when I was 16 as my pal Stevie lived at Malleny Croft at the far end of the road. We would take a bottle of Woodpecker each to his place - he had the room at the end of the cottage off the main house and had an SG copy bass and Marshall amp. And best of all there was Hawkwind's Space Ritual live to listen to. Happy days.
