Tuesday 13 July 2010: SYMME-TREE
Today the weather forecast gave rain and it wasn't wrong. When I got home from work it was still fine (just) and I had thought to go for my usual walk but I was waylaid by a 'phone call from a work colleague. She was, after the meeting (yet another one) that we had attended today, worried about the safety of her job as she felt that more than other members of the team she was being singled out. I tried to convince her otherwise but I am not sure how good a job I did. However, after attempting to calm her down for almost forty five minutes by the time I got off the 'phone I was tired and hungry and it was raining cats and dogs.
Not to be thwarted though I ventured out and managed to take a photograph of the above tree. The picture is just the top part of the tree which, I feel, is a perfect example of natural symmetry. I left the bottom part of the tree out of the picture as the symmetry ceased to exist as one's eye moved down the greenery.
