138/365: Jetty at Colwick Country Park, Nottingham

Cooer, the weather is crazy at the mo. It's done 'grey and grim', 'crazily sunny', 'chucking down with rain', 'thunder and lightening (very, very frightening... the kitten at least)'... and I'm not going to mention any other types of weather or else the day will try that too.

Anyway, this blip was taken on our evening walk / bike ride (us walking, kids cycling) at Colwick Country Park. It was the break in between the crazy rain and there were hardly any people there. It's almost as if people can't believe that it's sunny after the grey, thundery afternoon... and then... ping! Out comes the sun but everyone still goes 'nah, don't trust you... sorry' and we had virtually the whole park to ourselves. Which was fab... until Maddy got tired of riding through the puddles and her resulting wet backside... and continued to whinge for the rest of the time there. And we had the delight of the non-stop commentary of moaning whilst she walked, skirt-less, soggy knickers on display with squelching shoes around the last bit of the park... pushing her bike and refusing to pedal when she did get back on it. These are the bits of parenting which turn my hair grey. *twitch*

Oh, and tomorrow I am going to try not to do another b&w shot. I keep on doing 'em at the mo and I will be giving myself a stern talking to so that I try something different!
