Wednesday 7 July 2010: Djemaa El-Fna, Marrakech
The central square in Marrakech, in front of the Koutoubia Mosque and surrounded by the 60,000 shops of the Souk, is alive in the early evening with snake charmers, the barbary apes, food, orange juice and spice sellers. The place is alive with colour, sound and humanity: one of the most enriching places I have ever visited.
