Gah!

The rain was quite something today, pelting the flat horizontally. I was completely dismayed when, in the evening, I noticed that the new plaster was sodden around the top of one of the new windows in the kitchen. There was also a damp plaster spot above the door, but on the inside of the wall.

The window leak was easily found - the sealant had come away. The door dampness, well, I think I need some repointing done. I haven't accounted for repointing in my renovation of the flat, but needs must. It doesn't rain but it pours!

I'll get the window people in to sort what shouldn't have broken.
