Redcurrant jelly in the making ..

It's that time of year when suddenly everything needs picking at once. It took me half an hour just to pick 1 1/2 bushes, the fruit is so abundant this year. Redcurrants are so beautiful to look at aren't they?

I've put one batch to simmer with a view to making jelly from the liquid. Many more bowls full to go.
