144/365: Detail of a fiddly, twiddly, twistly plant in the garden
Today has been a bit like this photo really. Nice enough but with weird twiddly bits in the middle. Not sure what I make of anything at the mo.
Work continues to be confusing. We're in a bit of odd position at the moment. Structurally part of another department, but physically located where we used to be... and with the former Head of Department who's just been made redundant sharing the same space. On the one hand you kind of need to talk about the changes that are being made... on the other... you can't because it would be indiscreet with someone who's just lost their job being in the same room. Plus, there's a complete lack of information about what's actually happening. The reorganisation fairy waved their wand, bravely made the big changes and then became coy when it came to discussing the details.
No-one's told us what our department is called
No-one's told us when we're moving
No-one's told us where we're moving to
No-one's even told me what my job will be
The twiddly detaily bits in the middle are making things 'interesting' at the moment.
I may be some time. I feel the need to find somewhere to go and have a quiet scream...
