Saturday 17 July 2010: The way home

It's become something of a tradition for us to stop at our favourite motorway service station whenever we are passing....yes Westmorland Farmers win hands down in our poll of motorway service stations - aka Torbay on the M6.

Today we were passing on the way back from our Cornish holidays and I spotted this delicious looking cake. Didn't buy it, but we did buy the ingredients for a quick meal when we got home, so while Mr Sandcastle unloaded the car, Mrs Sandcastle rustled up three different meals - organic beefburger for Max, black and white pasta with tomato mascarpone sauce for Lottie and duck and plum pies with fresh salad for the seniors in the family. Voila!
