Thursday 15 July 2010: Clotted cream and strawberry jam scone
Couldn't really be in the home of clotted cream without having at least one 'Devon Cream Tea' photograph.
We cheated a bit - this was taken in Cornwall, the scones were from the local bakery in Bude, the jam was our own because we're down to the last couple of jars of the 2009 vintage and it seemed important to use them up before next week's jam session. Clotted Cream was the genuine article. A few food miles in this scone, then....
