Decisions, decisions...

Lyra has so many toys, that sometimes it can be difficult to decide which one to play with next. It's a tough life.

Formerly the silent baby, Lyra has suddenly found her voice and begun babbling. I think she has developed this skill overnight just to spite her Daddy as last week we started up a sweepstake with friends as to when Lyra would say her first word. The rules are that she must both use the word and know it's meaning (so dadadadadada will not count!). Daddy had a very pessimistic view about when this might happen. The bets were:

9months and 10 days (Susie, ever the optimist)
9months and 29days (Jim)
10months and 18 days (Mummy)
11months and 12 days (Sam)
15months and 20 days (Daddy, ever the pessimist!)

Would anyone else like to place their bets?...
