A time for everything

Relaxing with a cup of tea and a book

Back in November, I blipped Ken Follett's Pillars of the earth. This is the sequel he wrote - taking place several hundred years later and featuring descendants of some of the characters in Pillars of the Earth. As you can see, it's another mighty tome, slightly longer even than the last one - I'm about a third of the way through! As with so many sequels, I don't think its as good as the first - the characters aren't as strong, and the plot weaker and more disjointed, but it's still a good read!
