Friday 23 July 2010: Long run in an Austin 7
Bumped into this couple from Liverpool in the Tesco carpark at South Queensferry today. They're on the way North to begin a John o'Groats to Land's End challenge in their beautiful Austin 7. The car is 80 years old, and the run is a kind of birthday treat for the car. Whilst they're at it, they're raising money for a favourite charity - the Claire House Children's Hospice in the Wirral.
If you bump into them on their epic journey, I'm sure you'll drop some cash in their collection - why not blip their progress, too?
