Thursday 22 July 2010: Lavender Farms in Sequim
Since my dear friend Karen is visiting from Alaska we decided to visit the lavender farms over in Sequim , Wa. There was a huge lavender festival there last weekend but visiting the farms post festival was a better way to go. All the farms were open and no crowds! The lavender fields are so lovely and we soaked in their lovely scents all day. We explored about four farms and had lavender ice cream and lemonaid too. We had a lovely lunch at the infamous 3 Crabs restaurant on the Dungeness bay too.
All day the sun was shining and we were laughing, gabbing and reminiscing about life, loves and world issues:) What better way to savor the summer day:) I have known Karen for almost fifty years and she was in my wedding and I was her "best woman" in her wedding. I cherish her friendship!!! This blips for Karen:)Go here to see Wed. backblip And go here for Tuesday backblip
