Tinariwen take a bow

Tinariwen thank the audience after a wonderful concert at Rockefeller in Oslo, Norway. Tinariwen are a band of Tuareg musicians from the Sahara Desert region of northern Mali, or - as their website justifiably calls them - "legendary poet guitarists and soul rebels from the southern Sahara desert". It was the first time I had the privilege of seeing them play, and I'm not so much glad I went as shocked that I was at one point considering not going.
