Sunday 25 July 2010: IN THE AVENUES AND ALLEYWAYS

Last night I managed to wiggle the wire of my laptop and get it to connect long enough to charge up the battery and so I have a limited window of opportunity in which to enter my blip of the day.

MrGable very kindly got MsGable to ring and see if he could assist me with my wire (knowing his 'loathing' of computers this was a very generous offer) but I felt it better to leave matters as they are as I am not sure if tinkering with the wire would void my insurance.

I popped round to a neighbour's house today in order to pass a book on to her. This shot is the alleyway that runs past the back of her house. I'm not sure what the tree at the end of the alley is or why it has been cut off in its prime - my neighbour didn't know either.

I must away now and conserve the battery so that I can perhaps continue blipping until my laptop is carted off to the 'hospital'.
