Friday 23 July 2010: Admiral Ivo Visin
A trip to Prcanj to see the lovely church and pay homage to the Admiral who became the first Croatian to circumnavigate the globe in 1859 on the splendidly named Splendido. He even got the highest award from the Emperor of Austria-Hungary for his efforts and features everywhere around the place. All fairly amazing given that by 1859 even Richard Branson had ballooned round the world.
