Day out no. 2

We're getting good at this. A second Sunday outing in a row.

Today it was Hampton Court. We used to go there practically every weekend when the children were little - we even had a season ticket.

But we haven't been there for a while, certainly not all 5 of us together. After some initial teenaged angst, we ended up having a lovely afternoon.

The family pictures are for our own private consumption. This one, of some random flower head in one of the formal garden beds, caught my eye.

It's proof, too, that last week's mishap with the telefoto lens really hasn't done it any harm.
