Frigidarium

Today we visited Histria, Romania. You can see alot more information here. It has been fascinating to see the remnants of these ancient Greek and Roman towns - especially the aqueducts and baths that haven't been around in this country for very long in the big picture!
Our guide was very well informed. I also had the opportunity to ask her about life as it was under the rule of the Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceaucescu - it was so very sobering. We are so lucky to have been born when and where are have been and we should never forget that.
