Curly-Tailed Lizard

on our screened-in deck this morning. I noticed him/it while I was feeding the koi, and he actually ate a piece of the dry fish food when I tossed it towards him.
These lizards curl their tail up over their back, like a scorpion, when they run. this one is about 2/3 grown- they get a lot bigger than the brown anoles I've blipped before. (and yes, those toes on his back feet really are that long)
