Dark Dining

I don't like Chinese restaurants in modern decor, lighting and furniture. I don't have a traditional mind in many senses but I insist a restaurant serving traditional Chinese cuisine should present itself in traditional appearance and atmosphere. If it's a so-called fusion diner, I'm OK with the chic look. If not, I really don't feel good.

I had a nice dinner at this new Chinese restaurant at the local Grand Hyatt. Nice for most of the food. Surely not for the interior design. And it's way too dark. Not only too dark for me to take some good candid shots for my colleagues, but also to know what I was actually eating...
