Monday 2 August 2010: Abbot House
One of many fascinating things in the old capital of Scotland* is the Abbot House in the centre of the town. It's steeped in history and is pink. Yes, pink.
The inscription over the door of the house is (paraphrasing), "since words may bind yet thought is free, hold your tongue, I counsel thee". For advice, it beats the crap out of "Duck or Grouse".
