Fire Valley

Fires are devastating to those directly affected, but tend to create interesting atmospheric effects. There are over 300 fires burning in British Columbia and at least three big fires in North Central Washington filling the air over our area with a layer of hazy smoke. Just outside of town, with the sun heading toward the horizon, I captured this tranquil view of the Naches River valley.
