Saturday 13 October 2007: First Contact
The villa is great, the pool is fine but there is absolutely no wireless in the surrounding area.. but that's okay for today's entry as we are visiting friends and I know they have access, but this could be my last post for some time unless I can find a way of blagging wireless in the nearest village to our lodging.
Just like history repeating... It must have been a very poignant moment today for my wife, Cryno and her lifelong friend Maria.. They met as toddlers at nursery in Mid-Seventies Salford and today, their two daughters, Artemis and Poppy, born only three months apart, met for the very first time at Maria and Thanasis' new house in Cyprus.. They have recently uprooted from Athens to begin a new life and challenges here.. Maria made a lovely pork dinner,we watched England defeat Estonia and even managed a coastal stroll and a beer.. just perfect....
