Monday 9 August 2010: Rainshine
She did really enjoy her first proper Edinburgh festival experience (the most excellent Charlie & Lola's best bestest play followed by a few street things up the High Street), but the afternoon downpour was a bit to much for all but the toughest acts.
The poor (but very talented and funny Argentinian juggling) chap whose performance we were watching when the heavens opened was clearly relieved the rain didn't extinguish his fire clubs and he was able to collect his monies from the crowd. I gave him a well-deserved fiver for perseverance.
Bella was very upset, but we told her if she smiled the sun might come back out.
She did and it did.
