The joy of performance

At the Fringe Festival today - actually at the Fringe Festival ALL day. In the audience at MacAulay & Co at 10 am for the Radio Scotland broadcast, then on to Dare Protoplay gaming event at EICC where Max and his friend got to try out some games which are currently in development and see the new Microsoft Kinect kit. Then dragged Max off under protest to see Manga - The Body Tights Man Show.

It was a great HIT! Max ended up on stage, due to his 8-year old's enthusiasm for raising his hand when the audience is asked to volunteer. He entered into the spirit of things and was awarded a bandana for his participation, which he wore all the way home.

A brief rest and refuel, then off again to see Alan Cumming at The Assembly Hall, which we nearly missed by being in the wrong venue (ooops we were in the Assembly Rooms thinking the show was at the Music Hall). It didn't finish until nearly 2 am. Haven't been out that late for a long while - actually that's not really true as there was the Moonwalk in June.

What an exciting place Edinburgh is!
