Sunday 15 August 2010: To the Forth
A misty start to the day. And then it got sunny. Here I am poitering along behind the "Paul Francis" which was also going through to Granton. They had a 1.8m keel and banged the bottom a few times. No such problems for my own boat with its 2'10" draft. As the day wore on, it got hot. And very hot indeed descending the Falkirk steps which seemed to take forever. And eventually to the sea lock on the Carron. And there I tied it up. One day's sailing to go! Yo ho ho!
