Market stall

Budapest's Central Market is close to where my mates live, so it made sense to go there on our first morning (well, afternoon by the time we got our act together) to check it out and meet a contact of theirs. It's an impressive place, large in scale, wonderfully ornate outside and spanned by an intricate ironwork structure which allows for large areas of glazing which flood the interior with daylight. It contains a large number of stalls, some of which sell fresh produce such as cheeses and meats and vegetables, while others which specialise in (sometimes tacky) tourists souvenirs. There are also several bars and restaurants. It's one of Budapest's best-known landmarks.

We were pretty tired after our first session, so went back for a bit of a siesta before heading out yet again for some more clubbing and bar visits. Another late night, in other words (and lucky to get even this uninspired blip for the day).
