Friday 20 August 2010: Atlas Girl

Myself and Nat left early doors this morning for a stunning trip in to the Atlas Mountains. Some of the scenery was breathtaking. We stopped off several times to take in the local villages etc, take some pics and enjoy some food and the culture.

We met this young girl in a traditional Berber village, high in the mountains. We gave her some sweets and money for the pic and she followed us for a while and I took several more shots. This looks a lot better in large. The history here is interesting to say the least and the lifestyle these people lead and live is very basic indeed. If only she knew there was a much bigger and better world out there for her

I was going to blip some scenery but this girl was lovely and thought I'd blip this instead of some boring yet stunning mountain scenery.

We have had a fantastic day, time to chill for an hour or two now, then shower, out for some food, then we have a 2hr Argan oil full body massage and pamper session each in the morning.
