caterpillar

Today I found my second Caterpillar in a row. Never saw this one before eighter but some research gave me the name of the butterfly it will become: Orgyia antiqua. In Dutch it's called Witvlakvlinder. Literaly: whitespotbutterfly. Actually it's a moth. The moth in the picture is the male. The female is grey and has (to my surprise) no wings, but is just spending her time laying eggs.

If you watch carefully you can see two "whiskers" on its head. You can see it a bit better in this picture.
