Wednesday 25 August 2010: Messing about in Boats

I just couldn't keep away. The water was so calm, the light so good. And there were things that needed done. Stuff to be brought ashore. Stuff to be taken to the boat. And a new permanent mooring to move over to - well, until October 16th, anyway.
This photo is the smaller of the club boats - "wee dumbo" as it is known.
And - this was all after an excellent coffee at lunchtime. In the morning, if I can recall that far back, I had a bit of a read: "The Death of Yugoslavia", most excellent.
So this evening - time for a chinwag with the pals in the Diggery Dogs. The beer was just drinking divinely, so it was. Mr T was revealed as the chap who went home in someone else's jacket last week. A few months back he went home in my shoes! We shall keep an eye on him in future; he'd end up sleeping with yer missus and claim it was a mistake! (it would be, ho ho!!)
Time for bed.
