Friday 1 December 2006: A great city....
There are times when you realise that you live in a great place - tonight was one of those times. I met my pals John and Mr Slim Panatella. in the Cafe Royal.. Lots of talk of the state of british stand up comedy - Mr Panatella was running through his routine - very funny btw - while we just took the 'mickey'.
Then I had the pleasure of walking home late at night listening to Yusef Islam's new record on my ipod - sublime.
