Miss Hell's Belle and the Mysterious Lipstick Mark

Another one from the fiendishly excellent Something Wicked This Way Comes vaudeville cabaret of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2010.

This was the last of the shows, and although there was no fire or anything like that (which they played on through, outside ! yas!) this time, for some reason, the sound was nerve racking to say the least and the mics/DI boxes/PA or whatever were popping like an early fireworks show.

So the Black Diamond Express part (which didn't do anyone justice, unfortunately) was unfairly short.

Despite all this "snowball of shit rolling on and on" as guitarist Stevie quite aptly put it, there was plenty of dancing going on. Some pretty lassies were dancing around in a wee group behind Claire. After some girly giggles, one of them plucked up the courage to ask Claire if she could kiss her back - which Claire said was definitely the strangest thing any one had ever asked her! - so yeah okayy, why not? :-)

So she actually left a lipstick mark on her back, which Claire shows off in this pic of the day, which I took outside later on.

And that's exactly how it happened.
