The Pensioner

Just a Perfect Day

Got the boat to the pontoon and rigged up and off we set across the Forth. The breeze died as we passed Oxcars (above), but that was no problem - we had a lovely picnic anchored up at Inchcolm island. I tell you, this was better than those old blokes I usually sail with. Pinot Noir, brie and grapes - even a bag of crisps. And the wind revived awhile and came round to the SE, allowing a fine sail with a couple of tacks back to Granton.
Just grand. Cycled back to the clubhouse in the evening and there was a good crowd there and much boateee chat. Seems there are plans for a sail on Sunday. Aye.. to a pub! Boat... Drink... Boat!
