Saturday 27 October 2007: Shed head
G and I went to collect my second-hand shed this morning. It was a big beast - eight foot by six, pent roof, three windows (one opening) and a lockable door. Perfect and, more importantly, free (except for a morning's graft).
Halfway through the dismantling phase (and after carrying the roof very carefully through the donator's house), we discovered a serious infestation of woodworm affecting the floor and two walls. Declared the game a bogie and came home for scrambled eggs and chilli sauce.
So now I'm in the market for a shed - or at least a good set of plans to build my own. I'm inclined to get a bit more creative... perhaps I should be aiming for Shed Of The Year 2008...
